AAA Solar Works partners with Solvari to accelerate their growth without additional investment. With Solvari SR, they can train their crews in less than an hour and have confidence that those crews will produce multiple high-quality installs each day that pass inspection every time. AAA Solar Works has their Solvari solar panels delivered directly to the jobsite, so they don't have to manage a warehouse, carry inventory, hire a parts picker, or buy specialized trucks. In addition, they don't have to hire a system designer or procurement manager because Solvari provides a single SKU module that includes the entire rooftop BOM. It can't get any easier than that!
California saw an 80% drop in the solar market due to interest rates and the new NEM 3.0 rules. This has led solar installers to seek alternative technologies to increase the efficiency of their business, maintain revenue, or increase margins. This is what brought AAA Solar Works to Solvari. Solvari’s all-in-one solar panel enables AAA Solar Works to simplify and streamline their entire business, reduce their overhead, and operate at a much higher efficiency.
As shown in the video below, the AAA Solar Works team installed a kW of Solvari SR every 10 minutes on this old roof. Yes, you read that right, an old roof! Because Solvari SR’s installation costs are so minimal, homeowners don’t need to wait for a new roof to get solar. When the time comes, they just unscrew the Solvari panels from the roof, install new mounts using the toolless quick release feature, and then reinstall the panel when the roof is ready. Yet another example of how Solvari makes it easy.
Solvari provides an all black, low profile look that is clean and modern. With 6 points of leveling, it can make even the most uneven roof look good.
Solvari SR panels are shipped to the jobsite ready to install and prewired for landscape installations. They arrive on the pallet roof side up to make rewiring for portrait fast and easy (it takes only 35 seconds). Also, Solvari SR eliminates the time spent doing jobsite cleanup since the only packaging to manage is the shipping crate.
Solvari SR is easily lifted from the ground to the first story roof face by two or (shown here) three people.
One or two solar installers then carry the all-in-one module to the array location.
Each module is completely mechanically independent from the others. Simply place it down next to the existing module. There are NO mechanical connections to make between panels. This makes installation consistently 3 min per module no matter the array configuration or the number of roof faces.
Two roofing screws on each mount go down quickly with standard low power impact drivers (avoid high speed impact drivers please). Solvari's polymeric mounts can be installed anywhere on the roof, including across elevation changes in the shingles.
Reaching interior mounting screws is easy. Just reach across the module and place your hand on or near any of the mounts to provide leverage while you drive down the screws.
Next, electrically connect the panel to the previously installed panel. The Solvari SR modules come prewired, so in most circumstances there is nothing to do except to reach under the panels and make the connection. However, if you need to jump rows or convert wiring to landscape, there are extra preinstalled wire clips right where you need them to make the process fast and easy. For those who want more access under the module to make the connections, they can utilize the leveling bolts in each mount to increase the modules height off the deck. We find most installers don't need to do this, but they appreciate the functionality if they do.
Amazingly, the entire array is installed using a single tool, a 3/8" nut driver and power drill (or impact driver). To make it even easier, Solvari provides the nut driver with every pallet. We wouldn't want the job to be slowed down due to someone forgetting a $2 tool.
The Solvari SR module is prewired for landscape installation. However, it also comes with additional pre-installed wire clips allowing the module to be rewired for portrait orientation. The module also includes extra cable length so you can reroute wires through the array to avoid skylights or roof vents. This eliminates jumper cables from the jobsite and thus the connectors, wires, and tools required to make them. Additionally, field-made or mismatched connectors have been reported by fire departments as a leading cause of solar related fires. Since Solvari SR eliminates field-made connections and ensures compatibility, it increases the system reliability and reduces these fire risks.
Built-in leveling bolts enable the Solvari SR array to be flat even if the roof isn't.
This image of four panels coming together shows how the pre-installed mounts are designed to avoid each other at the corners allowing the modules to fit together perfectly.
