The Swiss army knife goes solar. When the CEO of Solvari started his presentation at
the recent Clean Tech Global forum all I could do was roll my eyes. My first thought was this is a foolish idea that can't possibly work. By the end of the presentation and after a detailed conversation with Samuel Truthseeker, the CEO and founder of Solvari, I'd come full circle. What Solvari has developed is a fully integrated solar panel. They call it pre-engineered. All the wiring, the inverter, power electronics, even the anchor screws and flashing tape are integrated on the panel. The goal is to dramatically improve installation productivity allowing rooftop crews to complete multiple projects in a day. The company even talks about a do-it yourself market. That's a stretch and the panel is only designed for asphalt shingle roofs. But check out the description to see why Solvari's solar panel has a chance to gain market acceptance.
